Reverse transfer is a secure method of printing plastic cards. Reverse transfer printing is a method of printing a card without really having to print it. Actually, a thin layer of mylar, or film, is printed that contains the card’s reverse image. The cards are then applied with this film. This printing method is ideal for RFID cards or smart cards. Since such cards have unusual shapes, they can’t be printed with the dye sublimation method. This type of printing is very popular and allows you to print identity cards with good image quality easily. It is not easy to tamper with or destroy such an ID card due to the film overlay. Any attempt to alter the card (changing a name etc.) would become visibly obvious.

Holograph and lamination

Holographic and lamination printing is close to how to reverse transfer works. After printing, a laminate or holographic overlay is applied to offer protection to the card so that no one can alter the details. You can make PVC cards more secure with a customized holographic image designed specifically for your company.
